What a place with a long and terrific history! Looks like not much has changed in this store in decades! Extremely yummy Delta style tamales with saltines and hot sauce. It just doesn't get much better. Service was a little "stiff upper lip", but worth it .

While there are a number of other items on the menu I went for… the… tamales! Started with 3, and quickly ordered 3 more. They were delicious and 6 = $6. You can’t beat that with a stick. Only a couple tables for dinning in. Great sweet tea. Everyone was very friendly. If I’m back in town, I’ll be sure to stop by.

It was a wonderful stop here today heading to Georgia. I had the small Fiesta for lunch all the way. The food and service were top notch. The owners could not have been nicer and personable.

Oh, we love this place! It's a great slice of regional cuisine, the tamales are not like what you get in Texas, but they are so tasty. The staff is always attentive and friendly.
